Hickerson first joined Â鶹¹ÙÍø in 2005. She is a listed inventor on 12 issued US patents and several more pending. She has consulted for multiple diagnostic and medical device companies. In addition to her research and teaching at Â鶹¹ÙÍø, Hickerson has also taught Biomechanics, Introduction to Biomedical Engineering, and Biosignal Processing at Harvey Mudd College.
