Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Featured in National Digital Film Series About Type 2 Diabetes Remission

Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø is part of a released today called Project Remission, which explores how lifestyle medicine can be used to treat, reverse, and prevent chronic disease, with a specific focus on Type 2 diabetes. The series was created by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine in partnership with Content with Purpose.

Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø is featured in two films that run between 3 and 4 minutes — a thought leadership piece and a short documentary.

The features President Mohamed Abousalem and focuses on Âé¶¹¹Ù꿉۪s patient-centered approach to education, with an emphasis on the work done to address chronic diseases like Type 2 diabetes.

The follows Ana Melchor ’27, a second-year OTD student at Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø whose capstone project aims to grow education about lifestyle medicine in the Latino community to address diabetes. The film also highlights the personal connection to Type 2 diabetes that Melchor and her family has.
